Macrocarpa Sleepers are a popular choice for garden edging, due to their natural rot resistance. This allows them to remain an environmentally friendly and completely safe option for vegetable and other edible gardens.
These are landscape grade meaning they have one good face and one good side. The sleepers will have large knots, bark inclusions and imperfections, but give a beautiful rustic vibe to your garden!
Macrocarpa is a naturally hard timber that lasts for approx. 5-10+ years. We recommend painting, sealing/ lining any areas that will be exposed to wet soil, to increase lifespan. The ends are not cut square. Sleepers allow extra length to square to 2.4m.
