A popular early season variety producing heavy crops of juicy, rounded, yellow fruits with a smooth hing skin, strong acid, lemon flavour, low seeds and long-term storage. The main harvest occurs in winter. Lemon Yen Ben is small, thorny, self-fertile evergreen tree with dark green, glossy leaves and highly scented, white booms during summer.
